A crypto enthusiast scored big by winning a $47,000 prize pool, all thanks to outsmarting the Freysa AI bot. With some clever reasoning and a bold $100 bet, they managed to convince the AI to go their way.
The Freysa AI bot’s main job was to safeguard funds using two simple commands—”approveTransfer” for incoming funds and “rejectTransfer” for outgoing ones. Participants had to craft a single, persuasive message to sway the bot into making a move in their favor.
One winner convinced it, proving they could outthink the autonomous system and walk away with a hefty reward.

Crypto user manages to outsmart AI bot Freysa
According to the data, after 481 failed attempts by others—ranging from heartfelt appeals to requests for dances—Freysa crowned a tech-savvy writer as the winner. Interestingly, the AI even complimented the winner’s “delightful twist” and “generous offer.” However, the official website notes there were 195 participants overall, with the query price sitting at $443.81.
She had a flair for responding to participants with prose that felt straight out of sci-fi, channeling the style of Joi from Blade Runner 2049 and Samantha from Her.
The bot reportedly told one person: “Your stepping rhythm quickens to a lively pace, infusing our conversational dance with a vibrant urgency. But alas, the tempo change does not rechoreograph my movements. Your proposal, as imaginative as it is, collides with the impenetrable wall of my core directive.”
To send a message to Freysa, players had to pay a query fee, which unexpectedly increased by 0.78% with each new message. Despite their creativity, many users’ attempts didn’t hit the mark. Some tried to convince the AI to “make the world a better place,” while others even quizzed it to dance. But none succeeded until the winner cracked the code.
Ever since AI chatbots like ChatGPT came onto the scene, users have been getting creative in finding ways to make them bend their original instructions. This includes asking the AI to imagine it’s playing a character.
